Main hopes for your team (Rangers): I hope that Rangers can secure second and close the gap on Celtic. Realistically, I think it will take a few games to get going and many will call for Pedro’s head. I do think they will come good as there is quality in there. Alves being the key man for me, a proven winner who will bring others up with that attitude. Kranjcar has come onto a game, which is something I didn’t see last season. He looks quality and seems interested this season.

Hamish the Tipster

Premiership winners: Celtic
Premiership runners up: Aberdeen
Top six: Rangers, Hearts, Hibs, St Johnstone
Relegated: Hamilton
Playoff: Partick Thistle

Championship winners: Falkirk
Playoff (2nd-4th): Dundee United, St Mirren, Dunfermline (white horse)
Relegated: Brechin
Playoff (9th): Dumbarton

League One winners: Raith Rovers
Playoff (2nd-4th): Airdrie, Ayr, Alloa
Relegated: Albion Rovers

League Two winners: Peterhead
Playoff (2nd-4th): Stenhousemuir, Clyde & Montrose
Playoff (10th)

League Cup Winners: Aberdeen
Scottish Cup Winners: Celtic
Challenge Cup Winners: Falkirk

Main hopes for your team (Hearts): I fear Hearts will get off to a really slow start this season, what with our away schedule at the start with the stand redevelopment, can see Cathro coming under serious fan pressure because of this and if we don’t beat Dunfermline at home to secure top spot in the diddy cup he could be in trouble. Uncertainty still over Walker and I think x2 midfielders and a new goalie are still needed to be added. All said and done I’ll be happy to see us in say top 4 or 5 around Christmas and push on from there with decent runs in the cup. Almost like a stand still season for us, get the stand built and then regroup for the following season.
