We’re back for an eight season to preview the Scottish Premiership and cover what’s been going on at the World Cup.
It’s the two John’s who are on and they start off with the World Cup. The guys discuss whether it’s possibly the best one they’ve watched. There has certainly been plenty of drama with a few big teams going out early and a chance for a new winner if Belgium or Croatia are successful.
The first Scottish team to return to competitive action will be Celtic as they aim to negotiate four qualifying rounds to get to group stages of Champions League. Hibs and Rangers face the same fate as they try to get to group stages. Aberdeen got the the toughest tie as they drew Burnley in the second qualifying round.
Hearts and Rangers have been the busiest clubs in the transfer market ahead of the new season. Celtic, Kilmarnock and St Johnstone have been the quietest with only two signings each.
It’s too early for predictions so we’ll make them later on.
