In this latest episode regulars John, Jeff, Erin and Scott are joined by some returning guests in Rangers fan Andy L (@AndyLoughran), Motherwell fan Andy R (@MFCPodcast86), Dundee fan Ethan (@EthanHampton11), Livingston fan Euan (@rankine_euan) and Hearts fan Laurie (@lauriedunsire) while Hibs fan Charlie (@charliebanks97), St Mirren fan Div (@pieandbov), Ross County fan Ross (@rossm1997) and St Johnstone fan Danny (@dannyw1989) make their debuts as each club in the Premiership is represented.
The show kicks off with a quick review of the Scottish Cup final between Rangers and Hearts and what could have been for Rangers in Europe. Andy L assesses the need to strengthen which he feels the club didn’t really do last summer.
In a season where there have been quite a few managerial changes, both Andy R and Danny are of the opinion their clubs should have probably made a change. The situation at Hibs is discussed to the delight of other fans of rival teams while some guests question what kind of pressure Goodwin may be under at Aberdeen if they don’t recruit well and get off to a good start next season.
Ross discusses the season that Ross County have had and the moral dilemma amongst fans surrounding the appointment of Malky Mackay. They certainly had a decent turnaround in 2022 as at one point they looked like they might get relegated yet they just missed out on Europe.
Scott is feeling like a champion though you wouldn’t guess it from his voice as Celtic clinched the League and League Cup. He covers the change in fortunes at the club with Angeball while others question whether he can adapt and have some kind of success in Europe.
We cover some highlights of the season, comedy moments (mainly relating to Mark McGhee) and as usual some pie chat.
